Profile

(This page describes Jarrod Wilcox and some firm capabilities.  Go to our services page for a succinct and concrete listing of what we do for clients.)

Wilcox Investment Inc. is an SEC registered investment adviser founded by Jarrod Wilcox in 2001.  I am a former business school teacher, management consultant, and investment manager.  Before founding Wilcox Investment, I served in a wide range of senior capacities in institutional money management.  I have worked as portfolio manager, director of research, and chief investment officer, investing in US stocks, international stocks, bonds, and currencies, working closely in many cases with clients with special needs, both taxable and tax exempt.  My experience, education and selected publications are shown below.

Currently, I am able to offer high quality, long-term help to up to five clients.  I am also interested in designing and maintaining customized stock portfolios that will prove better than conventional diversification.  These aim to improve the relationship of return to risk.  They are designed for clients either who have extraordinary career, business or investment risk exposure to a single stock or industry or who face excessive interest rate risk from portfolios dominated by long-term bonds.

I offer strong simulation and statistical research drawn from extensive databases, as well as familiarity with academic and professional investment research.  I also listen carefully to client needs, and provide regular customized reports and, where desired, investor education.
